Making your Moon Milk

 

Ingredients

Coconut Milk: Rich in healthy fats, this creamy milk lends a delightful foamy and milky texture to your tea. You may substitute your milk of choice. My personal favorites are oat milk and almond milk.

Rooibos Herb: This earthy tea is high in antioxidants and beneficial nutrients. It will give your tea a nice warm and sweet scent

Hibiscus flower: This bloom imparts a sweet, refreshing flavor to your tea and reduces inflammation.

Lavender Flower: We chose this powerful herb as our main ingredient. This flower contains active nervines which are natural properties found in plants that contain natural calming and soothing properties to help reduce stress, calm nervousness and ease anxiety.

Elderberry Powder: The perfect garnish for your tea; this earthy berry will add a boost of immunity and healthful properties.

Vanilla bean powder: The perfect way to top off your beverage and add some sweet spice

Honey: You can use a sweetener of your choice like stevia, cane sugar, or maple syrup.

 

Instructions

First, steep your herbs and blueberries into your favorite teapot or strainer. Make sure you steep for 10 minutes. 

While the tea steeps warm your milk and froth your milk to make it foamy and cloudy. Pour tea between 1 or 2 teacups then pour warm milk over tea and stir in sweetener to taste.

Sprinkle and garnish your tea with elderberry and vanilla bean powders. Sip and enjoy your beverage and breathe out your worries!
